Zeno made four arguments against motion, and these paradoxes are known to us today because they are discussed by Aristotle in his Physics. The first paradox posits that you want to walk across a stadium, and to accomplish this you will have to traverse an infinite number of points (following the Pythagorean view, of course, and Zeno was stating that motion was impossible even under that view). You will also have to traverse these points in finite time, assuming you are to reach the other side of the stadium at all:
