y been written in language(s) other than Greek. Yet, how likely is it that Jesus or his disciples were primarily Greek-speaking and only incidentally Hebrew- or Aramaic-speaking Jews? If one accepts Crossan's premise of Jesus the "Mediterranean Jewish Peasant," as this author does, then the primary language of a fully-Jewish Jesus who taught great things to the rabbis when He was only 12 years old has to be Hebrew, or at least Aramaic.
